Name Changing Ceremony
A name changing ceremony happens when a canine asks their Pack leader for permission to change their name to something else. If the leader agrees, they call a Pack meeting and perform the change with these words:
Ancestors, you know every canine by name. I ask you now take away the name from the canine you see before you, for it no longer stands for what they are. By my authority as Pack leader, and with the approval of our warrior ancestors, I give this canine a new name. From this moment on, they shall be known as (New Name).The Pack then chants the new name.
