Name: Chioni
Nickname(s): Kiki
Allegiance: Loner
Rank: NA
Age: 36 months
Birth Date: November 22
Gender: Female (She/her)
Appearance:
Medium sized, black and white. Four white paws, white belly, white face marking and a white patch on the back of her neck, light brownish yellow eyes. Medium length fur that is longer around her legs and tail. Missing a nail on her right front paw. Scars on her ears and shoulder from fights. (Picture is of my own dog, I thought it would be easier to just use her picture)
Personality: Chioni is very calm and laidback for the majority of the time. Quiet and friendly demeanor towards most. Mellow to a fault though as she is often caught napping. However when a threat arises she gets angry quickly. Over her year in the wild she has grown to be quite vicious when the circumstances arise. Don't let this scare you though because she is very gentle and friendly to most. Chioni is also very protective of those she cares for. Though she is usually friendly towards a non threat she isn't very trusting at first and will be quite wary of those she doesn't know. She loves drinking from falling water, sleeping, running and hunting. She hates loud noises, threats, and surprises.
History: Born on small run down farm she was cast aside early on by the woman who owned the farm. Regarded as a useless mutt she was given away to a visiting man. The man gave Chioni to his daughter as a birthday present. The child loved her and Chioni also loved the girl. One day, when the girl was walking Chioni a large stray dog surprised both of them by leaping from a roadside bush and lunging for the two of them. This was Chioni's first fight. And when her strong protectiveness shown through. Chioni, though still young, defended her little human from the stray until some neighboring people came out and chased the dog away. Chioni hadn't been severly injured but her ears had been bitten and the dog had managed to latch onto her foot and rip her nail out. The little girl showered Chioni in love and care while she recovered but her time with girl was running out. Even though the little girl did everything she could for Chioni she didn't know much about dogs and neither did her parents. So, one holiday, a night long display of fireworks drew Chioni into a panic. Her unaware humans had left her outside, alone. She managed to clear the six foot fence and ran until she could no longer see the fireworks. By that time she was so disorientated that she had no idea where she was or how to get home. She ended up in an almond orchard in the middle on nowhere and survived there by hunting rabbits that lived in the fields surrounding. She eventually gave in to her instinct to travel. She didn't feel comfortable where she was and even though she had no idea how to get back to her home she had to start moving. Her search was in vain however and she ended up traveling over endless hills until she reached a span of forest. And so she arrived, after months of wandering and surviving. During her travels she had fought and tussled with many creatures from foxes, racoons, coyotes and even a bobcat. She was much leaner now and her coat was shaggy and her white paws stained brown. She was much stronger now too, and had scars to prove her victories and survival.
