As dawn light filtered down on the Pack’s camps, the healers emerged from their dens with news for their leaders. A nightmare had been shown to them, a horrible beast lording over the Sacred Temple Ruins that they gathered at each full moon. Their Ancestors had been silent, not a single one appearing during the nightmare, not even to lend their voice to the chaos.
