Name: Flick
Nickname(s): Flick
Allegiance: Sawtooth Forest Pack
Rank: Senior Warrior
Age: 67 months
Birth Date: May 15, 2016
Gender: female
Appearance: For a Siberian Husky and Gray Wolf hybrid, she stands at 25 inches at the shoulder. Her coat is in varying shades of tan, brown, and black. Her eyes take after her mother's, which are an almost startling shade of blue. Aside from her eyes, there aren't many other signs that she's even part Siberian Husky. She looks more like a wolf than she does anything else. Despite her outwardly pleasant demeanor, to those who don't know her, she is just a bit intimidating. She has some scarring but nothing that is particularly noteworthy or even noticeable to those that aren't specifically looking for scar tissue.
Personality:
Disciplined: She is able to self-regulate her emotions with little to no effort. She doesn't just lose her cool. If she does, it's only because she was finally pushed a little too far but, usually, this is only made possible by the fact she's already had a rough start. She is very careful with how she presents herself, and she tries not to let much of anything get under her skin. She knows when to hold her tongue and when to speak or meet certain situations with violence.
Perceptive: Not much escapes her attention. If something does manage to escape her, it doesn't flap in the breeze for long. She is also able to pick up on most things within a few moments of entering a new area. She can read the situation, those involved in the situation, and even things that don't seem remotely related to the situation. Nobody necessarily has to tell her anything and even if they did, she wouldn't take their words at face value.
Resourceful: She can pull solutions seemingly out of thin air. The concept of giving up isn't something she is prone to acknowledging. If there's a problem that presents itself, she's going to find a way to fix it. She's not always immediately sure how she'll go about it, but she'll find a way. When it comes to finding materials to solve her problems, while it may occasionally take more effort than she cares to admit, she can (and does) utilize seemingly random things to help solve her problems.
Stoic: She finds it extremely hard to rely on others. She will allow others to lean on her and use her as a means of comfort, but she will not allow herself to be vulnerable in front of others. No matter what she's going through, she doesn't allow it to show. She's able to endure most things without stumbling too much. She also won't complain when things get hard.
Blunt: She doesn't beat around the bush nor does she make a habit of sparing someone's feelings. If someone asks her for her opinion, she's not going to pull any punches or tell them what they want to hear. If anything, she's only going to succeed in alienating them. If someone goes to her, it is usually with the expectation she won't lie to them. She also doesn't apologize for the things she says or does because, simply put, anything she's said after being asked for her opinion is fair game.
History: There wasn't anything particularly tragic about her life. She had the warmth of her mother and two siblings and the firm guidance of her father. When she was old enough that her ears and eyes were open, Crow decided to teach her the basics so she would be ready for her time as a whelp. He taught her patience and focus, all within the confines of the camp. Crow told her that anything beyond that would have to come from her future mentor. He didn't want to step on toes, after all. Instead of allowing her to forget what he'd taught her, Crow decided to help keep her sharp so she'd be in prime condition for her mentor.
When Flick was six months old, she was entrusted to a mentor, as were her two siblings. When the three of them moved out of the nursery, they were buzzing with excitement. Her siblings were so caught up in the moment that they forgot they'd been envious of Flick receiving specialized one-on-one training from their father. She didn't seem particularly phased either way. During the six months of training that followed, Flick did her best to make her father proud. He may not have been her mentor, but he certainly had high expectations for her. After she'd served her time with her apprentice, she was made into a warrior.
After having gained two years of experience as a warrior, she was given her first whelp to train. She was harsh but fair with the whelp she'd been entrusted. Bad behavior didn't go unchecked. She had the same high expectations that her own father had seemed to have for her. At the end of her six months with the whelp, he was promoted to the station of warrior. She was given a year and a half to herself before being entrusted with another whelp, and she treated this whelp much the same way that she'd treated her first. Shortly after being promoted to the station of senior warrior, her second whelp was promoted to warrior.
Around two months ago, the pack experienced a shift in hierarchy. The previous leader died, promoting Lumiera to the position of leader. Flick wasn't sure how she felt about it, but she also knew she had no choice but to accept it. Anything else would be treason and blasphemy. She'd worked too hard to get as much respect as she had. She wasn't about to squander it in favor of looking down on the new leader. All she would do, instead, is support the new leader as much as she could.
