Although he was born outside of Pack life, Ozymandias has always held onto a fierce sense of loyalty. The interest of his peers always comes first and he will hold himself to this moral unwaveringly. In his mind, his Pack is the most important thing in this world and he would give everything he has to defend it. Ozzy is also known for being incredibly honest and unable to tell a lie, and he believes those who are dishonest when they should know better are disloyal traitors and are not to be trusted - as a result, he expects his Packmates to be entirely open with him at all times. If he has reason to think someone isn't being honest with him, there's nothing holding him back from tracking down the truth, even if it goes against their best interests. He does not appreciate dishonesty and makes sure his Pack knows. Of course, this obsession with transparency often leads Ozzy to act irrationally, earning him a questionable rap with his Packmates, yet he fails to attempt to rectify this behavior and continues it shamelessly. Ozzy is also known for being very strict and, again, just as he does, expects others to work tirelessly for the good of the Pack. He has no interest in those who prefer lazing about over providing for their peers. Because he views himself as better than most everyone else, he often holds himself arrogantly and acts with a conceited or egotistical manner. He also sees the world through very cynical eyes, as he believes not enough wolves are willing put in sweat, blood, and tears for the things they desire.
While he is very hard-working and driven, he is also often very short-tempered and self-destructive. His habit of tirelessly driving himself to be better or work harder or become stronger instills in him in irritable attitude, and he often refuses to take a break until his claws are broken and his paw pads are cracked and bleeding.
Ozymandias has good intentions that come from a good heart, but they very well may be his end.
APPEARANCE
Ozymandias is a large, broad-shouldered black wolf with silver-gray under-shading and amber eyes. His ears are smaller than most wolves', but he has large paws, fluffy cheeks, and a thick, bushy tail. A shard of bone is pushed through the outer rim of his left ear as a makeshift earring, and a thin yet ragged scar parts the fur across his shoulders. The fur along the back of his neck rises into what resembles a silver-tinged mane.
HISTORY
Ozymandias was born in a small family pack, far from the HOE territories. His mother, Arethusa, took on a loving, doting role to Ozzy and his sister, Rosalind. His father, Adonias, was a less present figure in his early life, yet still loved dearly. Ozymandias and his family traveled constantly - he doesn't remember ever remaining in one place for more than a month or two.
Eventually, when he was around ten months old, Ozymandias began to grow restless and desired to split off from his family. Though Arethusa crestfallen, she understood his wishes, and after one last hunt with his family, he bade them farewell and went off in search of new adventures and new territory.
He traveled for nearly a year before stumbling upon Limberlost Swamp and, in turn, the Pack that resided there. The idea of Pack life greatly intrigued him and he decided to join their ranks, climbing his way up the metaphorical ladder until he was secure in his position there. From then on, he strived to be one of the best members of Limberlost and desired to continuously prove his loyalty to them.
